Rainwater is collected from 21,600 acres of protected watershed on Mt. Tamalpais and the hills of west Marin and is stored in one of MMWD\u2019s seven reservoirs. Prior to use, the water is treated and filtered at one of the district\u2019s potable water treatment plants. Facilities for the District also include pipelines, storage tanks, pump stations, watershed and administrative facilities. Smith-Emery has provided field testing, inspection and laboratory testing, as well as geotechnical engineering services for the District.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
