STAPLES Center is multi-purpose arena in downtown LA home to three basketball teams and hockey team. The 960,000 square foot facility includes a 20,000-seat arena, offices, broadcast facilities and other facilities. In order to meet the challenges of complicated geometry, incomplete design, and an aggressive construction schedule, a composite  precast/cast-in-place structural system was selected. This system allowed for large simultaneous concrete operations both onsite and off-site.
