The Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park, future home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, is slated to open for the 2021 NFL season. The project is a sports and entertainment complex located about 3 miles from Los Angeles International Airport. A transparent, curving roof will cover much of the low-slung, waved-shaped stadium, the outdoor ‘rooms’ and the plaza spaces. A perforated, permeable metal ‘skin’ and openings on the sides of the building will wrap the venue to create an open-air canopy.
