This project is be a mixed-income community that includes 504 multifamily units comprised of public housing, affordable apartments, and townhomes. Smith-Emery provided inspection services for Blocks 1 and 2 of the project, consisting of 215 units of Type V construction over a Type I concrete podium. A joint partnership between the San Francisco Housing and Development Corporation and McCormack Baron Salazar (MBS), the development replaces the obsolete housing units built in 1962. Located in the Bayview/Candlestick Point area near the decommissioned shipyard,, and many acres of a coastline landfill.
