Providing high-quality drinking water to 190,800 customers in central and southern Marin County, Marin Municipal Water District was established in 1912 and today provides 75 percent of the District’s water.
The Long Beach Water Department provides water and sewer services to nearly half a million people through more than 90,000 service connections for the City of Long Beach.
The project focused on refurbishments to a five-mile pipeline constructed in the 1970s to bypass the loop canal and deliver water to the City of Martinez, Shell Refinery and several other industrial customers.
The $15 million upgrade to the Carmel District’s Wastewater Treatment Plant included replacing existing infrastructure dating to the 1970s and 1980s.
The Central Subway Construction projects adds 1.7 miles underground to the existing San Francisco Municipal Transit Agency’s Light Rail System.
