This construction mega project is the largest public-private development of its kind on the West Coast and is expected to serve as a model for other cities in the United States to follow. The new complex consists of a 274,000-square-foot City Hall, a 237,000-square-foot Port Headquarters, a 92,000-square-foot Main Library, and new below-grade parking facilities. The project also includes a  mixed-use commercial development with residential, retail, and hospitality spaces. The project is being developed through a public-private partnership, with Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate serving is co-developing this partner venture.
