Description

The Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension was part of Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s effort to expand public transportation alternatives to the congested roadways of Los Angeles County. Phase 2A consisted of 11 miles of new railway and six Steel Girder Bridges that were fabricated in China and inspected by Smith-Emery to AWS D1.5 code. Phase 2B had an additional 12 miles of new railway.
